CHEVRON – WHEATSTONE PROJECT, ONSLOW

Chevron have purchased 2 x Norlense NO-1000-R containment booms, one system has been installed on the vessel Go Emerald chartered by Chevron for the Wheatstone project off Onslow Western Australia.

The second system is stored at AMSNOR facility in Dampier, the systems are rotated on the vessel every six months.

Every 5 weeks, an oil spill exercise is conducted with the equipment on board. AMSNOR provide full training and support services for both systems along with Australian Marine Services providing vessel support.

 

CALTEX– BUNKERING OPERATIONS, DAMPIER

To avoid downtime and congestion at Dampier Wharf provides Caltex North-West Bunker Tanker solutions for fuel supply off-shore. Two fuel tankers (16KT) on rotation in Dampier Harbour provide continuous marine gas oil supply.

AMSNOR have provide Caltex with a response service that includes preparedness with NorLense Oil Trawl NO-T-600-S and a truck mounted NO-600-S 300m oil boom as containment and recovery equipment.
